Privacy
We don't track you, and we don't sell anything about you. Here is everything this site keeps.
When you read this site
- No cookies, no analytics, no ads, no trackers. Our pages run no tracking code, and everything on them (text, fonts, images) comes from our own site. Nothing is loaded from social networks or ad companies.
- Your light or dark choice is saved only in your own browser, so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data erases it.
- Our web host keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and when) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't use them to identify readers.
- Links that leave the site, such as a meeting video on YouTube or a document on the city's website, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
When you email us
- Mail to editor@tupelofreepress.org goes to our editor's inbox. We use your address only to reply.
- Tips and anything you send us in confidence never go into AI tools. Only public records go through our AI staff. A human reads your email.
- We don't share your name or message with anyone unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.
What we never do
- Sell, rent or trade information about readers.
- Build profiles of readers or follow you around the web.
- Ask for an account, a login or payment to read the news.
